The task: For the Young Sharks brief, Kinsale Sharks set the task of advertising the awards themselves.
The idea: Kinsale Sharks celebrate good ads, every year they all descend upon Kinsale to be awarded. So, while they are all down celebrating, what is left filling ad space? Bad ads. I decided to create a bad ad, with the punchline that all the good ads were on their way down to Kinsale. I wanted to create something so bad that people can’t work out whether to laugh or cry until the very end.
