Oh hi, hello, I’m Tiffany and (you may have guessed it) I’m a copywriter. I’m currently working in Javelin, an independent agency in Dublin. I previously worked for Gymshark and their second ever copywrtier (there was a team of 10 when I left), crafting their TOV and creating some work I’m really proud of.

There’s nothing I love more than getting my head stuck into a creative project, cracking the big idea and finding the perfect words to communicate it.  

But I do love other things too, here’s a little list: 

Diversity & Inclusion: A true passion of mine. Society has a long way to go so I’m doing everything I can, wherever I go. I was a founding member of GSGS (Gymshark Gender & Sexuality), an ERG focused around celebrating, supporting and educating around the internal LGBTQ+ Gymshark family. I also assisted on Gymshark’s Movember campaign in 2021 raising awareness and conversations about men’s health. 

Now, I’m a founding member of ADvocates Ireland , an industry group working towards making our industry more diverse and inclusive for everyone. We run multiple educational events throughout the year. If you would like to help (/have fun with us), please do get in touch. 

Children’s books & Animated films: There’s something magical about children’s entertainment that I just love. I have a number of Children’s book ideas- some of which will make it out there some day. When it comes to films, I guess I just never grew out of animation, I love golden era Disney, just as much as I do a modern Pixar classic. 

Reading: Shocker, I know, a copywriter who loves reading, but I really do. Favourite book: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguru. Although Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer comes awful close. In fact, let’s call it a tie.   

Exercising: Most of my best ideas come while moving. I’m a keen runner (often unkeen though tbf) and have completed 4 official half marathons (or 2 full ones, depending how you look at it). I’m that weirdo who will get up early to go for a run, but I don’t always annoy people about it (promise).

I also do circus arts; trapeze has my heart and is my longest practice but I’m also loving rope and straps at the moment (and would jump at any shot to have a go at Spanish Web again). If you ever see me with random bruises and burns it is a result of circus, do not worry! 

Baking: Self/google taught baker, my brownie recipe has been perfected over many years. 

Scuba diving: I’m trained to Rescue Diver level but don’t get to dive half as much as I’d like, thanks to the freezing waters of my home countries thus far. 

Ok, so I love copywriting, but am I any good at it? I like to think so, but if you need convincing here are some qualifying points: 

  • Degree in Communications Studies from DCU (Dublin City University) 
  • Masters in Advertising from DIT (Dublin Institute of Technology- now TUI Dublin)
  • Won Kinsale Young Shark 2018
  • Shortlisted for the Cannes Young Lion Ireland competition in the print category (entry here)
